LF413 Energy-saving High Temperature Shift Catalyst

 

1 Introduction

  LF413 energy-saving high temperature shift catalyst is produced with world advanced technology, using Fe2O3 as the active component, Cr2O3 as assistant and some other assistants. It is suited to energy-saving CO shift process for H2 and ammonia production at low vapor/gas ratio. Not only has it the characteristics of high strength, wide operating temperature range, good low temperature activity, low sulfur content in itself without necessity of sulfur releasing as well as good resistance to vapor condensation, etc., but also it is suited to operating at low vapor/gas ratio process condition, effectively prohibiting Fischer-Tropsh reaction.

 Its outstanding characteristics lie in two aspects: one is that there is hardly volume variation of the catalyst grain in the reduction process which ensures the strength and long service life of the catalyst and outstanding resistance to vapor condensation, the other is its high selectivity and high low temperature activity, obviously lowering down by-products of ammonia, methane or ethane.
