Methanol Steam Reforming Catalyst LF-301

for Hydrogen Production

 

  LF-301 is a kind of bi-functional methanol steam reforming catalyst for hydrogen production, suited to methanol steam reforming or methanol decomposition to produce industrial hydrogen, especially suited to mid and small hydrogen plants to supply small amount hydrogen users.

  LF-301 has excellent bi-functions of methanol decomposition and CO shift. In the process of methanol steam reforming for hydrogen production, methanol decomposition and CO shift reactions take place in the same catalyst bed, greatly simplifying the process and enhancing operating reliability. Meanwhile, the endothermic methanol decomposition reaction is coupled with exothermic CO shift reaction, so the reaction heat is effectively utilized and the possibility of hot spots caused by the exothermic reaction is eliminated. With this catalyst, the consumption is decreased and the energy is saved.
